Air Pressure Switch

An air pressure switch is an automatic switching mechanishm often found in compressed air systems and pneumatic tools. The switch is designed such that when a predetermined pressure is reached, the switch is displaced and the electrical circuit is open or closed. This type of switch is utilized in air compressors to automatically start the compression cycle whenever the tank pressure drops below the set pressure of the compressor.
