Blast Gate Valve

Blast gate valves are mechanical devices used to restrict or shut-off the flow of a fluid or gas in a pressurized piping system. Blast gate valves are commonly used in dust collection systems to prevent the backflow of dust particles when the vacuum suction is stopped. Blast gate valves are also found in other high pressure applications such as furnaces, boilers, and incinerators.
