Plastic Extruded Hanger

An extrusion is a component fabricated with a manufacturing process in which a material such as plastic or a soft metal is pulled through a die. The extrusion process results in long pieces of material with a constant cross-sectional shape. A plastic extruded hanger is a channel hanger, usually an U or J-channel cross-section shape made by extruding a plastic such as PVC. The hanger is then mounted to a wall or other surface for the purpose of hanging other objects.
