Acrylic Podiums

Acrylic is a transparent thermoplastic that can be manufactured to various shapes and thicknesses. Because of its transparency and plastic properties, acrylic is a popular substitute for glass. One of the most popular commercial examples of acrylic is Plexiglas. Acrylic is also used to manufacture podiums and lecterns - the stand used to support books or materials for speakers standing in front of an audience.
