Composite Cable

A composite cable is an electrical conductor used to transfer video and audio signals between home entertainment devices. Composite cables are made up of three separate conductors, each terminated with an RCA plug. The three cables are also color-coded, with the yellow plug carrying a composite video signal and red and white (or black) plugs carrying the right and left sides, respectively, of a stereo audio signal.
