Large Format Scanning

Large format scanning is a document scanning service predominately used in engineering, architecture and construction for the transfer of blueprints to computer aided design (CAD) software. Large format scanning is supported by both the hardware (scanner) and software solutions customized to accurately interpret the information relevant to the industry of interest. In CAD conversion, the scanning software will interpret drawings, dimensions, and annotation, converting all of the entities to their CAD equivalents. Large format scanning is also used in some other industries, including mapping and art.
